Enjoy a pleasant tour and visit our archaeological zone at Soledad de Maciel (aka La Chole), learn about the region's coconut plantations with a demonstration of the copra extraction process as well as the making of bricks and tiles. Then we're off to Barra de Potosí to explore the flora and fauna of their lagoon in a small boat, and to finish off we'll enjoy fresh seafood and a refreshment at one of their beachside restaurants.
Parque Aventura is located on the north side of Ixtapa only 15 minutes from the Hotel Zone, This tour is for the adventure-minded and consists of gliding from tree to tree along 11 zip-lines with a total length of 250 meters at an altitude of 30 meters for a truly exciting experience. There are also hanging bridges, rotating trunks and catwalks all within a 2,400 meter area where you can enjoy seeing local exotic animals in their natural habitat.
Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa is rated among the top sport fishing destinations in the world. Our region of the Pacific Ocean offers deep-sea fishing for big fish such as Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, and Mahi-Mahi among others as well as coastal fishing for smaller species such as Roosterfish, Bonito, Snapper, Mackeral, Needlefish, and Skipjack Tuna. The action often begins right at the mouth of the bay and it's usually not necessary to go any further than 10 miles out. Morning departures are from the Zihuatanejo Pier in boats from 26 to 42 feet for from 1 to 12 persons.
