Delight Of Zih Light

Watching the weather satellite images from yesterday and today one would be led to think Zihuatanejo must have suffered a deluge similar to the one that flooded much of Mexico City yesterday evening causing hours of dead-stopped traffic. And even looking skyward last evening and watching the storm clouds roll past and the barrages of lightning on the horizon to the east and south one would have to assume we were going to get some rain. Well, it might've rained elsewhere, but not a drop fell in downtown Zihuatanejo.

After the misa for Doña Cari my sweetie and I took our evening stroll, and though there was barely any light, somehow I managed to capture this image of the imposing storm clouds hovering over Zihuatanejo Bay with my trusty iPhone. Kinda cool, eh?

I had pretty much given up on getting any interesting morning photos because of the cloud cover, when all of a sudden this popped out of the eastern sky for just a few brief moments. Ya had to be there.
