I was addressing your Pier Requirement comment.

U.S. requirements for dockage would only pertain to U.S. registered shipping.


So was I. Are you saying we simply IMAGINED the U.S. safety requirements imposed on all cruise ship destinations with U.S. ports of call after 9/11? If a cruise originates in San Diego or Miami and we want to receive their passengers we have to adopt the safety measures imposed on the industry by the U.S. government. If the cruise originates elsewhere and has no U.S. stops the regs are different. Same for aviation. The Bush legacy is the gift that just keeps on giving.
