You could also go the other way up to Villa Vera Hotel (now managed by Worldmark). They have a wonderful restaurant, And, then, from the lobby door, you walk up the hill to Leo's Marisqueria for excellent seafood! We especially love their cocktail de pulpo and they serve alga (seaweed) that's quite tasty!
