Zih Season for the Reason

I was on my balcony above La Ropa beach enjoying my morning coffee and felt 3 or 4 rapid jolts. Quickly went inside for 30 or so seconds saw the balcony was still there so coffee and I went back to the balcony and continued to enjoy the early morning.

THAT'S the spirit! :thumb:

I was on our rooftop taking photos of the religious procession my wife was participating in during the Temblor de Viernes Santo in 2014. Never been so terrified in my life. I was thankful to still see a stairwell in our home so I could run downstairs and out on the street. Every time I have to climb up to check our tinacos for water on the highest level of our home I can't help but remember being thrown off my feet by that temblor. Do I live in terror? ¡Para nada! But the terror and helplessness of a big quake is something you never forget either.

So you keep on enjoying coffee on your terrace, and I'll continue enjoying mornings on my rooftop with its wonderful aromas of the bakery on one side and fresh coffee on the other and the beautiful sound of the waves in our bay breaking on the nearby beach. Life's pleasures are its treasures.
