What I Zih

Watched several big storms pass by last evening and into the wee hours, but we barely got a sprinkle here in downtown Zihuatanejo. Cooled things down just enough to make me think about pulling the bedsheet up over myself, though i never did.

The pier construction crew was working into the wee hours to make the necessary repairs. They were hard at it when we passed by this morning. Hard to believe it's the peak of hurricane season and there were hardly even any waves in the bay this morning, though thunder was rumbling way off in the distance out to sea. Looks like they picked a good year to rebuild our pier.

The basketball court got a new coat of paint and looks really nice. Kudos to the local players who did such a nice job!

We've been fortunate to be eating a lot of fresh fish lately. One of the advantages of living by the sea!
