El ZIHglo XXI No Me Convence

Sorry this is late. I got stuck in INSTALLATION HELL trying to update some software yesterday afternoon. I thought, aww it'll just take a few minutes, but it took hours to work out a problem that kept showing up. But everything appears to be working fine now. All this dang technology that never works right and only wastes more of our time has me convinced things were better in the 20th century.

We seem to be holding steady at around 133 currently active cases of Covid-19 in Zihuatanejo, according to the official tally. Deaths continue but have slowed down from previous weeks. All the 40-49añeros are wondering why their 2nd vaccination shots aren't here since it's been close to two months since receiving their first Pfizer shot. Glad our daughter went to Lázaro Cárdenas for hers last week instead of waiting. The government appears to have dropped the ball and forgotten us.

After a week there's still no word on the lost fishermen from Acapulco even though their pangas were recovered, and though a couple of bodies have been found along different parts of Guerrero's coast, none were them. Unfortunately it's highly unlikely they are still alive at this point.

What a rain last night! Almost flooded our home. It was over the sidewalks. Fortunately we have our "flood barriers" installed.

¡Cuidemos nuestro patrimonio!

El Almacén in the late afternoon.
