Margaritas restaurant last night

Having read a post a week or so ago, I walked into Zihua last Monday to find this restaurant just to scout it out as I wanted to try and experience some more restaurants in the Zihua area. When I found it am pleased to say that it is very roomy, open air in some areas and brand new. By the posting this restaurant already seemed to have a god reputation so I reserved for us 4 and our landlord Mexican friends for last night.

Simple menu with some more expensive choices and one daily special at night. Last night was rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce, small potatoes and some vegetables. Now I must say when I heard the special was steak, ribeye or not I always think of it likely to be on the chewy side which it wasn't but not cutting with the fork either. Anyway the meal was quite good, service was good, waiters could speak both Spanish and English but it was also fairly quiet with only 4-5 tables. Another bonus was the music was background so could have a conversation at the same time.

I give it two thumbs up because the whole package was what I expected and there were no disappointments. Reasonable prices perhaps limited choices for those that like the big shrimp, rack of lamb etc but I will go back for cena and likely a breakfast or two which the two couples who were there from the condo at the marina raved about.

I hope this does well as it is a family built and operated business and I like to see that and the tables and chairs were not patio style as well.
