We stay in La Madera so usually walk from Plaza Kioto along Marina National to Calle de Cocos (the one with the great restaurant Doña Lichia). The white buses run along that street from wherever it is they originate. The conductor usually leans out the door shouting out 'Peta'. We just hop on and relax as everything seems to fall into place - as it should. Don't worry if you happen to miss one of these buses as another one will amble along in about 48 seconds.

You can get the Petatlan bus from the small depot on Calle Las Palmas street just across from the Bancomer bank which is on the main street of Zihua. Is to easy because you will lisent the gay of the bus shouting: PETA PETA PETATLAN!!!. the price is 13 pesos por person.

It should take about 30 minutes including stops along the way to dropoff and pick up passengers. From that drop off point on the main coastal rd. Rt 200, you can catch a ride on the shuttle (covered pick up with seat bench's) that makes the run from the main road to the beach about every 30 minutes.

Where does one catch the bus that runs to petelan and drops off at Los Achotes. What is the current fare. Also what is the fare for the Pasajaera to La Barra from Los Achotes? Thanks.
