Epicenter Report (reply)

Most of the villages like Chucutitan, Las Penas, Caleta de Campos are built on solid bedrock.

Hwy 200 remains open with minor to moderate rockfalls between Las Penas and the X villages.

No local gossip of herridos. Cell phone and la luz did not even flicker.

Don't know how important or not this report is on this forum. From all accounts the characteristics of the quake which has been classified as a terremoto rather than a temblor locally meet the specifications for VI on the Modified Mercalli Scale.
