Others will give you exact location-it is just off the main street going towards El Centro, not far from Copels.

Although you may hear otherwise letter type mail seems to bge reliable. However, packages are subject to Federal Customs inspections. This was the experience of a long time es-pat who had a postal box.

The Oficina de Correos is located on Calle del Cartero, a street that was recently "remodeled" by the municipal government to remove most traces that any vegetation had ever existed there.

Here you use the little orange Google man to see what it looked like with all its lovely trees.

You'll have to check to see if they have an apartado postal (APDO) available to rent because space is limited and there may be a waiting list.

We had one back in '74 and my mother rented one again from '87 until her death. The service was always extremely reliable, though the wait time for mail has improved considerably over the years. I've received both letters and packages there without any problem, though for most of the past 3 decades I've relied on my street address for mail.

I don't have any idea what the cost is, but it was always extremely reasonable back when I shared an APDO with my mother.
