Is anyone using a US mailing forwarding service?
I think there are quite a few, so hoping for a recommendation.
I already have a UPS US address...
Thanks!

Hello,
When we lived in Mexico City we used a service by Mail Boxes Etc. Here a link to their locations. I see no location near Z/I, but maybe one of their offices can do it for you?

How it worked for us:
- We had a PO BOX address that they provided and about once a week the mail came. They sent us email every time we had something.
- We also had a UPS Store PO box for business, and every so often requested that they send a packet to the MBE address.

Can't remember what we paid, it was not cheap but it was reasonable.

Good luck!

Many forwarding services. Check Yelp for customer reviews.
A couple things to consider when choosing:

1. Make sure your service will discard any 3rd class, junk or advertising mail before forwarding. International shipping can get very expensive.

2. If you are going to be permanently or semi out of the USA you may want to consider a service in a tax advantage state and use the service address as your residence. States like Wyoming, Washington, one of the Dakotas (I think) have no state income tax which can be an advantage.

We have not had a permanent address for nearly 20 years and have used WANDERERS' MAIL SERVICE located in Seattle to accumulate and forward our mail to wherever we are. They are reasonably priced (about $125 a year plus postage). Wanderer's will discard all junk and only forward first class and specified magazines. They alert us if shipping seems overly expensive - which it is in many parts of the world. We usually get our mail every two months but have had them hold it for over 5 months while we were sailing through the South Pacific. During that time we had a check arrive. They searched through our mail to identify the envelope and the sent the check to our bank for deposit. Great service.
WANDERERS' was established in 1909 and is the longest continually operating forwarder in the USA - under several different owners of course.

Do they have a street address or a PO Box? Our only issue is that our bank requires a "US residential address" to send cards to.

We have run into the same problem a couple times. Wanderer's uses a street address plus your PMB (private mail box) number. We substitute Apt. ??? or -??? Instead of PMB and it has worked:

1916 Pike Place No. 12, Apt. ???
1916 Pike Place No. 12-???
