The fishermen's market was bustling this morning with a bountiful overnight catch. Good to see after all the rainy days and storms had hurt their business.

There was a panga on the shore this morning that had apparently been fished from the depths of the bay, I guess by the folks currently removing tons of garbage from the bottom of the bay. I hope whoever claims the boat gives them a hefty tip.

2. How do you misplace a panga?
3. Beautiful!

Thank you.

Wow. That is a bountiful catch! Who are the folks working on cleaning up the bay? Great endeavor.

As I mentioned yesterday, the Nautilus Zihuatanejo Organization is currently removing tons of trash from the bottom of the bay. They have an ambitious mission and they need all the support they can get.

Hi all, I have a question how much would you expect to pay for one of the Red Snapper in the first photo? Red Snapper is my favorite fish to order when in "Z" next is Dorado, and then Yellow Fin Tuna. Hope one day to be able to spend the winter in "Z" and buy and cook my own fish, until then I will settle on my 2 week vacation starting Feb 27 next year. Thanks

Yesterday I mentioned I thought the found panga had been rescued from the bottom of the bay by the folks who were cleaning debris from the bay, but it turns out local fishermen found it swamped and adrift in the open ocean.

Hopefully it was a float out from the storm, and no one is missing?

No fishermen missing that I'm aware of. Just a well-liked local taxi driver who hasn't been seen since going to work last weekend.
