I would like to know if a day trip to La Saladita would be a worthwhile experience? I’m not a surfer. Thing to do and see, how to get there, etc.
Thanks

Hi - we took our first day trip up to Saladita last year and we are not surfers either. We have taken numerous day trips to Barra and usually stay 4-5 nights in Troncones. Saladita is a great day trip to watch world class championship surfers. Lourdes Bar and Grill - great service, food, and prices and a front row seat to take it all in. It was fun to see a new part of the coast and the whole surf culture there has a cool vibe to it.

How far is La Saladita from Majahua? Do taxi's go there?

I've been there several times with local amigos who like to fish from the beach. It's a bit sleepy apart from the kids surfing, I just hang out eating fried fish and drinking Victoria while they cast away...

Sounds like my kind of town. I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the responses...
