Try as I can I can't find a store in Zihua that sells the product I need however, Home Depot in Morelia does. Does Home Depot deliver to Zihua or am I going on a road trip?

Thanks

I have tried to order things from Home Depot MX in the past. When it came to the shipping, It said shipping to my address was not possible. I order many things from Amazon USA and Amazon Mexico and have no problems getting stuff. Not everything Amazon USA can be shipped down here.

The closest Home Depot is Uruapan. 3 hours one way. An easy day trip, with time for shopping in the mall and lunch. No armored car needed and it is a far more pleasant drive than Aca.

The drive to Uruapan is on toll road and is a fast trip. It's interesting, if you are a person who observes. You get to go by a major dam, past the very large lake behind it, and climb about 6,000 feet. The changes as you go are obvious in the plants, birds and general scenery. The city of Uruapan is beautiful and worth a visit on it's own aside from Home Depot!

We have been doing a very major remodel, and have found that we can find every little thing here, as long as when we start our search for that particular item we remember to ask (where it isn't available) where it may be available. It can be an exercise of frustration, but with the correct mindset, it's all part of the adventure.

Good luck, enjoy Uruapan if you go.
