I have to find a place, next year, for a short period till I get into my more permanent housing. I was wondering if anyone has experience with Casa Bella, it says trailer park on a sign so wasn't sure if that had any effect on the stay. Thanks

It's Costa Bella. What information do you need? We spent 8+ winters there in our RV.

I would like to follow this topic. Where is Costa Bella? How much room do you have for your RV? We would be interested in bringing ours down for the winter, but not wanting to be side by side by side.

Until March 2018, there were two RV's that had the two best spaces for the entire winter. Now both are available. We bought a house and have sold the RV, and the other experienced a death and won't be returning.

It's a great time to go there and get a spot!

I guess you staying there for 8 years pretty much answers my question about the people who ran the place. I was just trying to get a feel from someone who has stayed there.

Costa Bella was originally a family home/compound. It now has the family home (Rodrigo is a semi-retired attorney and Evelia is a retired teacher, and both are respected in the community) and space for 3-4 RV's or tents and a building containing 7 apartments and one more on their patio. They have a beautiful pool.

The RV and tent sites are very nice, good electricity, sewer, water and wifi. The rooms are great, at times a little bit needy in terms of kitchenware, but if you ask they will take care of things.

They are pet friendly even in the rooms.

They are located across the dead end street from El Manglar, and just inland of El Pirata.

The only difficulty is contact. No English is spoken, which is great. If you arrive and use the bell at the gate, you will be met and reservations are easy. They are trying to have their son, Dr. Roberto Campos, take over the reservations via Facebook. He speaks English. We found their prices to be reasonable.

Now that we are in our own home, we still consider them to be our friends and see them on a regular basis.

I also know and like this family very much. Just as an additional option- across the street at El Manglar where we spent 5 winters in our RV- same great services, but no pool.
