as the sun sets and my eyes burn, I am reminded by the poor air quality in Zihua why I quit smoking tobacco 41 yrs ago. In my opinion the rains can't come too soon. :-|

We are so looking forward to the first rain to wash everything off. We are also anticipating the bloom of the Flamboyan trees that are spectacular and just leafing out. Then the rambutanas will arrive in the markets, then the tree ripened mangoes, and from our yard. The jacaranda trees are leafing out, they should give us an amazing show!
As the seasons change everything else does too! It's so cool trying to track what is going to bloom, what birds are going to become very visual and vocal and just life in general changes! It's fabulous.

Yes, we love it all! And.... the ocean stays warm and so does the air! We live in paradise!!!!!!!!!!

The air quality in Ixtapa has been fantastic, compared to last year. But the many uneducated people that "think" fire is helping their crops will no doubt be folklore passed down for others to do. Hopefully information will help them.
