I am looking to get my signature verified on a document so that I can obtain some medical records from the US, I checked in '16 and was told that I needed to go to the US consulate in Acapulco. Was wondering if there are any options in the Zihua area? Gracias

I don't believe anything has changed in that respect. If you need a U.S. notary then you'll need to go visit the U.S. Consular Agency in Acapulco.

Thanks I was hoping for an easier option but hey I could stop and go fishing at Vincente Guerrero on the way home!
