I know with everything going on this is not a big deal. Went to Walmart a couple of days ago In the states and they had school supplies on sale. Stocked up for a hopeful October trip. At some point in time we need to go forward.

Does that mean you'll be going back to Zihua? I thought you've been going to the competition for the last few years?

We will be at the Azul Grand until I’m told otherwise. We still eat most of our dinners in Zihuatanejo and go there for fishing. Wife likes Isla Ixtapa and walking the cyclopista.

Thanks, Craig!

We should be on more stable ground by October when the tasa de transferencia is expected to be stable under ONE, and the virus can then be said to be under control according to the criteria used by our authorities. The hotels and restaurants will have had several months of practicing safe hygiene to keep themselves and our visitors safe. Here our biggest concern is folks from the States bringing the virus with them.

Yep it's getting real stupid over here. Hospitals are maxed out so we closed some things back down. Went to Cabo a couple of weeks ago, much better about masks and everything else Covid. Wife's stupid boss made her go get a Covid test because we went to a place that had less Covid. She made this determination while at a birthday party. The next week she takes the entire office out to lunch for my wife's birthday and they all sit at the same table within a couple of feet of each other. You just can't make this stuff up.:wtf:

Being tested after leisure travel is to be expected, That helps to stop the spread of Covid 19. The other things about your wife’s boss, yes that stupid. Despite the hoopla in the media about sunbelt Covid 19 spikes, most of the US finally has a decent plan to battle the virus, but compliance is up to each person. That’s what’s missing right now. There is a good deal of finger pointing with this being an election year national about a lack of a federal mandate regarding the health crisis. But each state has a plan thank goodness. The US will be fine, I hope the same for Mexico.

:megusta: This plus conversations I have with people in Mexico and the U.S. make me anxious for how long this pandemic will last. I hope I am wrong and the optimists are correct.
