YES, and don't forget to stop for coconut treats on your way back!

Are there several restaurants there and any you would recommend, If and when things open up again?

I have kind of spread the wealth and have been to different restaurants. All good. With what is going on, a weekend would be the best to catch someone open.

It is when it's open. Beautiful setting with delicious fresh seafood, though the water can be dangerous since it's open ocean and the waves bounce around between rock formations. I've been by there several times recently and everything looks buttoned up tight. Same at El Calvario.

I went by both la Barrita and El Calvario yesterday, and some of the restaurants had clients, though the tables were spaced far apart, which means El Calvario has very limited dining space, but at least they were doing some business after so many months of being closed. A very scenic part of the Costa Grande.

We spent a wonderful day this past Saturday at La Barra.

There is a stop just before entering the Village where our hands were sprayed with disinfectant.

We always spend the day at Teresitas where again hand disinfectant and shoe wash.

Great meal of huachinago entero, guacamole and tortillas de mano.

Lagoon was as beautiful as ever but an extremely strong and dangerous current.

Yes, it is always worth a day trip!

I think that the original post is about La Barrita which is further down the Coast than Barra de Potosí.
