I just want to express my sincerest and most heartfelt gratitude for all the birthday wishes yesterday. Words seem so inadequate to convey the overwhelming emotion I was fortunate to experience thanks to the outpouring from wellwishers. Thank you!
We ended up having what can only be described as a heavenly dinner at the Kau Kan Restaurant where the ambiance, service and fare are all exquisite if not somewhat stunning. The meals served by my dear friend Chef Ricardo are works of art and orgasmic to the taste buds. Whoa!
Of course the view is always mesmerizing.

And I finally got my mojitos and they were supremely delicious!

What a great restaurant for a birthday dinner.
Our first encounter with Kau Kan was about 10 years ago. It was our favorite restaurant then and still remains our favorite restaurant today. Ricardo Rodriguez takes so much pride and care in every dish. The food, the atmosphere and the staff are unforgettable.
