Fish Question

Each morning as we look down upon the bay from our condo we see many patches of dark water - obviously schools of fish just below the surface. They send shimering waves of water rapidly back and forth as they race around just below the surface. What fish is this - ojotones perhaps.??

This morning those schools seemed especially active -- maybe ten different ones from our vantage point at La Ropa -- really boiling. Ojotones, lisas... are there others?

Yes - same here again this morning. Maybe 20 differnt schools - and as you say they really get the water "boiling" It's incredible how fast they can reverse direction!

Possibly Bonito. It's common for them to trap their feed on the surface then go into feeding frenzy.
