At The Speed Of Zee

We awoke to a nice southerly breeze that apparently blew in some tropical weather last night, and there was even a little rain in the region. Change is in the air!

Saw quite a few wahoo a the fishermen's market this morning but not much else besides barrilete and smaller fish. Many fishing boats were still arriving as we left, so maybe they had better luck.

Maybe some of you recognize this hard-working woman as the vendedora de cocos who works the downtown area and who is raising a very gifted daughter who helps her mom after school. She sells delicious fresh coconuts from her modified tricycle with an umbrella and cracks them open with her machete right there in front of you. Her coconut water is delicious and healthy. Thanks to her new glasses she can now see better and hopefully won't be accidentally whacking off any of her fingers soon.
