Question about Petatlán

I'm writing a blog post about my recent jaunt down to Petatlán. Seems to me I read or heard, some years ago, that the church there is notable not just for housing the much-celebrated statue depicting Christ collapsing under the weight of the Cross, but also for its unique architecture. Something about its having been built of mammoth prefabricated pieces imported from Europe.
Anyone else know about this...or am I confusing this with another Mexican church?

Not confusing this with La Iglesia de Santa Barbara in Santa Rosalia, Baja California Sur? Designed by Gustave Eiffel, its cast iron walls and roof were shipped from France to Baja.

I realize that Petatlan's church has some interesting history, but as church's go, it sure ain't very pretty.
