Change of Seasons

Don't know if y'all are keeping up with our local weather, but yesterday, along with the earthquake, we also saw the arrival of a change in the weather pattern as the tropical convergence zone pushed some clouds and rain our way. We had a lot of strong winds last night around 4 in the morning that made a lot of work for our streetsweepers and probably downed some tree limbs somewhere and blew someone's lamina off their roof, and we also had our first sprinkling of rain that only made the blowing dust stick to everything that got wet. Kind of messy actually. Looks like we may be in for some more of the same throughout the day and possibly throughout the weekend. The rainy season has arrived! But I still had to water our plants this morning quite sparingly with what little water we have. Historically June 1st is when we get our first real rainstorm, so we're getting ready.
