A Place to Zih!

We got our June rains, and now it looks like we'll be getting plenty of sunshine for a while as the tropical convergence zone gets settled in just below our latitude, occasionally throwing off some moisture in our direction.

Schools will be letting out here soon and the summer vacation period will bring folks streaming our way from the inland cities. Oh boy.

Oh, and today the Sector Naval officially takes over port operations around the country including here in Zihuatanejo. Personally my wife and I and many of our neighbors are quite please with this since the SCT hadn't exactly been keeping up their end of the deal.

Here you can see a cloud line dancing along the southern horizon while a fisherman tries his luck from the beach.

And speaking of dancing, we're not quite sure what this guy was doing atop his panga roof, but he seemed to be enjoying himself. B-)

P.S. Don't forget to follow the America's Cup regattas beginning today in Bermuda.
