la papa loca

If you have any pesos left after frostbite's high-end spots, try a Baja-style fish taco at Los Braseros on Calle del Ejido. Or, on Sundays only, between maybe 10 am - 2 pm, take a taxi out to Dona Celia's in Coacoyul for the best pollo en mole in the area. Or go to the last restaurant at the south end of Playa Larga, (Punta Playa Larga) for blue corn sopes de pollo. Or get a delicious torta at the little hole-in-the-wall across the alley from Barracruda Bar, aka the old Rick's Bar.
If you don't feel like going all the way out to Papa Loca, you can get a passable stuffed potato or good tacos al pastor (still 5 for 20 pesos?) at La Flama del Tizon (Sp?) near Zorro's.
Or Calle Adelita for fish tacos at El Arreyan, or milanesa at Salvador's, or lasagna at La Portena on the Paseo del Pescador, or a hamburger with the works from the cart at the basketball court, or .....
Do I sound like I miss Zihua?
