Between Zih and a Hard Place

I could be biased, but I just can't help but think that no matter what problems we have here in our little neck of the woods, they pale in comparison with most of the rest of the world. We still adhere to old-fashioned customs long lost by most of the so-called modern world. We still greet friends and strangers with a smile as we walk about town. We still get credit at our local stores with just our word. We still measure and treasure our friends for what's in their hearts and not their bank accounts. We still enjoy old music and simple pleasures. We still value the practice of common courtesies and good manners. And we can still spot a city slicker a kilometer away! ;)

No city slickers here!

Still socked in!
