Flows Into The Zih

Last night's rain, while not all that heavy, nevertheless had us concerned about the pluvial canal "La Boquita". So we made sure to give it a look-see this morning. It was full of muddy water from the hillsides' runoff, but any additional damage appeared minimal. The rain only lasted about an hour or so as our part of the coast was merely brushed by a major storm cell. Unfortunately we now have to remain alert during every rain until it's repaired, so that was an hour of lost sleep. Got cool last night, too. Had to turn the ceiling fan down a notch. Brrrr!

Not a good day for swimming in the bay, though I spent my childhood swimming in the Ohio River which often looked as muddy as this and I survived. ;-)
