If anyone from the press is watching HELP we need lights!

As a recently returned long term seasonal resident, I looked forward to my first evening in downtown last night. La Cancha was ground zero for Catrina watching and I admired all the work put in by the various groups who had created elaborate altars for Dia de los Muertos. Winding my way out of the crowd estimated at 3,000 persons I was dismayed to realize that in some places even along main streets in El Centro, half of the overhead lights are out. On the waterfront Paseo del Pescador and along Avenida La Boquita lights are gone...ironic to see the heavily armed SSP and Fuerza Estatal guarding our safety when, IMHO, the biggest risk to health and safety here is tripping and falling on the treacherous unlit walkways.
