Since the street lights leave our sidewalks in the dark because of the tejabanes, some of the neighbors have installed their own lighting. Here's a pre-dawn look down Vicente Guerrero street.

A hundred million pesos have been budgeted to replace our decaying municipal pier. Supposedly work begins early in the coming year. The only design I've seen is fugly and uses three times as much concrete as should be used. So we're enjoying the one we have while we can.

With the end of the hurricane season officially passing last week, it's not looking like any more rain is in the forecast. We're back to mostly cloudless sunrises for the next several months. Boring, I know. But hey, at least the fishing charters are back in business. This morning they were readying their boats for a big day on the big ocean.
