Adding minutes to Mexican Phone

I bought a Telcel phone this past winter and am bringing it back to Z when I return in Jan. Can I purchase minutes on it in one of the stands in the Airport? Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you bought the Amigo plan and your number is still operational you should be able to buy the card for additional minutes at one of the local airport stores or at Andy's Place just outside the airport gate on the left. I forget how long they allow you to go without using your number before cancelling it, so you may want to go to the Telcel website and ask their "Live Assistant" via their text-chat feature. Since Telcel offers service in Mexico, the USA and Canada at rates much cheaper than what a lot of folks up north are paying, you could use their service all year. I get unlimited free calls to all 3 countries plus 3GB of data transfer for about 400 pesos a month. There are cheaper plans with the same free unlimited calling but with less data transfer. My wife spends about 200 pesos a month for her plan, and she only gets 1GB of data transfer.
