We are in the middle (actually a lot further) of having our new house renovated.

Last week we asked for a house name sign to be created, and when asked what wood we wanted, requested Parrota. We had it explained to us what woods were protected and that correct, legal woods would be used and give us pretty much the same look while being politically correct.

Obviously, we were very pleased by the education, and are thrilled with the results. We have since learned that our Parrota wood floor is actually stained pine, and that's good news!

We are having great work done at great prices all made of "politically correct" woods. It's important!

There are very reputable wood workers out there who do great work and do public education as well.
