My wife and I love the La Madera neighborhood and have stayed there for many years until the stairs up to our favorite room on the top floor room of the Irma got to be too much. The past 3 years we stayed in Ixtapa at the Posada Real but still go Zihuatanejo on the bus almost everyday. We would walk over the hill to La Ropa in the morning before it got to hot and have breakfast at Paty's then after some beach time take the combi bus or cab back. I can recommend a couple restaurants in the La Madera neighborhood, Margaritas just down from Casa Vieja is a great place for breakfast and for dinner try Adelita's on the right hand side by the pedestrian bridge
tell them Wilson sent you, 33 more sleeps for me :kingtut:
