Garbage and invasions

Hubby still walks it- all the way, then back into centro and La Ropa. It's 14 K's and takes him about 3 1/2 hours. A really good work out 2 or 3 times a week. It is still a nature walk, but traffic is beginning to appear, so right- poor hubby will lose the tranquility soon.

Tranquility and cleanliness. If past experience is any indicator it will quickly become the place where a lot of unscrupulous businesses dump their garbage.

And squatters are currently invading the area by the highway where this road ends.

From what I understand influyentes already have first dibs on the choicest lots now accessible thanks to this road. The big question is who wins the race: squatters or the influyentes? It's been quite a few years since any invasion was halted or reversed. And it's an election year.

Folks say they want a new road access to La Ropa. Careful what you wish for.
