Did you stay in any No Tell Motels??<<<

We did and like you found it to be quite clean and shall we say -- different.

On our return drive from Zihuatanejo to Vancouver in '04, we stayed overnight in the Nogales Motel in Guadalajara. I gotta admit I was a bit puzzled when they asked me how many hours and chalked that up to my lousy Spanish but did tell them 12 hours. They charged us 300 pesos and the room was immaculate.

It wasn't until we got into our room that it dawned on me just what we we'd gotten into, however, the wife was chuckling to herself all along because she had heard of these places previously -- or so she claims. ;-)

We didn't use the food service because we had an electronic cooler full of food and beverages, nor did we have need of any of the "Menu Items". As we were getting ready to bed down for the night, my wife turned off all the lights. When I asked her why she did that she said "I don't want to be starring in the next room".

12 hours later and almost to the minute they phoned to ask me if I needed more time.

I was flattered......
