The Best Option IMHO

That sounds fantastic! As I said I have been doing this for 6 years. It is not as complex as it sounds. Just using the second modem makes it happen, but I do pay $80/yr for the VPN service (Strong VPN). However I have to subscribe to VUE to see US tv. Does your system eliminate a streaming subscription like that? My deal adds up: VPN $80/yr ($6.67 mo.), Sony VUE $40/mo., Netflix $10.99/mo. Add to that $10/mo. for USA Box for my mail in the US and we need to pay about $70/mo. in the US. That's a lot when converted to Pesos! A week or more of groceries, 2 months CFE, tank of gas in the Suburban, or 4 dinners out!

We will be in Zihua Sept. 7-14 looking for a condo for full time living. I'll visit your guy while we're there to get more particulars.

I get Netflix separate because I signed up when it first came out in Mexico for a ridiculously low rate which I jumped on, and it’s only gone up like 10 or 12 pesos in 4 years. But many of the same programs and movies are available. I get a gazillion channels including my favorite sports channels so I can watch Formula 1, Tour de France, and college football. In addition to the same old news I also get Al Jazeera and BBC. Plenty of English language programming as well as many Mexican and Latin American channels.
