Tako Taco

I'd been eyeing this place between the Bomberos and Boquita canal for at least a year, maybe more, but hadn't quite figured out when they were open. We finally decided they were open for bus traffic.

After Robin Hood tonight (a really fun movie) we went there. We were the only customers at 7:45. Very nice looking place, nice bathrooms, very subdued lighting-bring a flashlight to read the menu. The food was perfectly fine, but sadly, a bit over twice the price as in town, the non bus sites. Kind of sad.

Will we visit again? No. Will we regularly eat tacos and quesadillas at our favorite places in town? Absolutely, other things too regularly.

Regardless of the pros and cons of the bus people, it's unfortunate that they may be taken advantage of.

Amiga, I hear ya! Thanks for the review.

One of my biggest peeves with traveling by bus is that all the bathrooms are pay-to-use. Not like the airports where you can tip if you like but aren't required to pay. In some churches I've been to they also charge you for toilet paper, which is kind of a drag. I think all public places should have free public restrooms, especially including our local beaches.
