“We enjoyed a fabulously delicious dinner of fresh dorado last evening at Joe's Café Marina.“

Not that I’m here to judge but weren’t you the won that told us dorado is a sport fish not to be sold? And this was a huge problem in the U.S. as they are buying illegally caught dorado? I do believe the second statement as I have seen it at my local grocery store and it looks like crap as if it was not stored properly. The tuna and swordfish look fine but I would never purchase any of the dorado that I have seen at my local stores. Have definitely seen a huge decline in Dorado catch when I have been fishing in the Cabo area over the last 10 years.

So when we are back next October is it ok for us to have a nice fresh dorado even if I don’t catch one? I did catch one last trip but threw it back to grow up. Not trying to start WWIII here just looking for some clarification.

Glad to see you've been paying attention, amigo. :thumb:

No, only locals can eat dorado. Visitors must stick to "legal" fish. :stirpot: :snicker:
