Easter crowds

I agree with Frostbite, the desire to avoid crowds is universal for me, no ethnicity involved. I have long thought of visiting Mexico City during semana santa if I can get a local to show me around while I am still able to walk.

Some people love crowds, some hate them. It's the same as preferring city life to rural or small town life. I've learned to tolerate crowds, but I also feel right at home in Mexico City each and every time I've visited there. If only it weren't over 2 kilometers high where my respiratory apparatus suffers the thin dry air. I'm a sea level tropical humidity kind of person. ;-)

If you like culture I think you would love visiting Mexico City any time, except of course during an environmental contingency. There is so much to see and do like no other city.
