Hey to Zih

In Zihuatanejo Bay the Pacific Ocean lives up to its name. It was so calm last night there were hardly even any waves. Easy for the fishermen to beach their boats when returning from fishing, especially in the dark. Such a difference from the choppy Atlantic, an ocean I never enjoyed much except for clamming in Massachusetts.

Thanks to so many generous folks dropping off graded reading glasses with Lupita, she's been quite busy distributing them to folks who need them. This abuelo was thrilled to be able to enjoy the smile of his lovely nieta. This is what it's all about!

While my sweetie and I were being cursi at the pier last night, we were regaled by the rising of a reddish Wolf Moon over Cerro Darío Galeana.

Any day you wake up is a good day, and when you can wake up to sights like this it's indeed a marvelous day and a privilege to enjoy.
