Gone Zih Pier

The recent weather keeps teasing like its going to rain but then all we get is a sprinkle that takes the humidity up more than it brings any heat down. This is why it's important to acclimate oneself.

I was real proud of my Caribbean brothers from Martinique last evening who, though they lost their Copa América match played in Charlottesville to Mexico 3-2, they had nothing to be ashamed or sad about.

Graduation parties will start soon all around the region as schools begin letting out, so you may see some older teens all dressed up posing for photos in scenic venues around Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa, and if you pass by the photo shops you'll see many of their class photos on display. Rites of passage.

This was a lovely scene from what's left of the pier last evening.

A light drizzle made for a sticky walk this morning, but the flamboyant tree at the zócalo seemed to be soaking it up while showing off its colors.
