Thank you, Mosesk. I was unaware of that possibility. I will share it with my friends as well. Wd make life a little easier. I remain a strong believer of notifying card banks and companies of our travels. Last year while in Z, we received a call from AMEX asking if we had just purchased items at a gas station in Maryland. I referred them to their records which clearly showed we were in Mexico. They immediately canceled our card and sent a replacement by messenger THE NEXT DAY!

Here's a little more hopefully helpful information :

"Travel Reminders:
Schwab Bank does not charge any international service fees or ATM fees, and we reimburse any ATM fee you are charged.*
Contact us immediately if your card is lost, stolen, or damaged while traveling.
It's a good idea to keep our contact information separate from your card in the event your card is lost or stolen.
If you are traveling internationally and plan to use a different contact phone number from what is in your Schwab My Profile, please call us to provide that contact information.
Within the U.S.: 888-403-9000
Outside the U.S.: +1-317-596-4501

Thank you for choosing Schwab Bank."
