I would add only this: When you say that the voters have less and less say in our government, you're absolutely right. We have a political system that is owned and operated by special interests. That's why only about 10% of legislation favored by the public gets enacted, while about 90% of legislation favored by special interests gets enacted. That's been going on a long time and is largely bipartisan. But if you voted for Trump thinking he was going to fix the mess ("drain the swamp') then that was a fool's game, and you were badly played. Trump is an elitist snob, not to mention a cheat and grifter, right up to his furry orange eyebrows. Always has been. So it should be no surprise that he's employed about 80% more lobbyists in his administration in three years than Obama did in his entire eight years. That's not draining the swamp, that's overflowing the swamp. And you would have known that he would do that, or something similar, if you had opened your eyes and done even a little homework before the 2016 election. Apparently you didn't. And apparently still don't. The real problem, of course, is that Trump is incompetent, ignorant, and impulsive - all fundamentals of extreme narcissism - which is a really bad combination and makes him a very dangerous man. Dangerous to the Constitution; dangerous to democracy; dangerous to the rule of law. That's why he needs to go.

And as for illegal drugs crossing the border? Demand ALWAYS creates supply. Supply doesn't create demand. No addicts NOB (or no profits resulting from decriminalization), then no drugs cross the border. It's as simple as that. That's not a chicken and egg scenario. That's Economics 101.
