Zih visto a lo ancho

With vacation season over and life returning to normal, it's always a surprise to see what is the new normal with the new year. Well, we now have free health care, except it isn't exactly working yet. The downtown bars are much quieter than they were before Navidad, though I still hear warbling and thumping until 4 in the morning which of course means drunks are in the streets much of the night. But it's still better than before Navidad.

There seems to be a water pressure problem downtown, but CAPAZ sent us a pipa today so that was cool of them. If you go to their office when you need water they will gladly send you a pipa, too.

Don't forget there's going to be TWO shows of opera songs to raise money for the Escuela de Música. One in Troncones at Roberto's Bistro on January 16, and at the kiosko (gazebo) of the plaza in front of Raiz de la Tierra restaurant in Ixtapa on the 17th. See the notice on my Community Notices & Events page for details the event in Ixtapa. Same ticket sales policies for the event in Troncones. These is going to be very surprising and worthwhile events. I hope lots of you will attend them.

Looks almost half done.

Very bright sun today. Did we lose some atmosphere?
