Sunday in Zihuatanejo. A day spent doing minimal work (there is ALWAYS work to be done), enjoying our absolutely perfect weather with the family. After such a noisy Friday evening, last night's peace and quiet was an unexpected pleasure. Usually Saturday nights are the worst downtown, but not last night. The revelers seemed to have gotten whatever out of their system. The noisiest thing last night were the waves less than a hundred meters away. Just the way we like it.

One of the best things about living downtown is it's an easy walk to the market to get fresh fruit for our desayuno. Papaya is always in season, and recently we've even had some mango, which is always delicious even though it's still a bit agridulce.

My media naranja went down to the pier this morning to snap a few shots of the pier reconstruction to send to her nephew in Chilpancingo de los Bravo. The major work on the pier appears finished, and now they are putting up the roofing over the seating areas.
