The Experts' Advice

Unfortunately overreacting to the situation is what is required. I held exactly your position 2 weeks ago. We are in Indiana so not exactly a hot spot of contagion. But then the signs started to emerge that overwhelming action is needed before you realize there is a problem. Not unlike a frog in water bearing heated. I completely understand López Obradors position on the virus. It’s similar to our President from a few weeks ago. It’s a tough choice, do you totally screw up the economy and scare the people into panic or do take a more measured approach. At the end of the day for us, the short term panic and economic burn seems right, though never did I think I would arrive at this conclusion. I hope México gets lucky to dodge the bullet. There is still so much we don’t yet know about this viscous virus. Here’s to looking forward to the world returning to normal.
