Hola. There are other programs other than the high profile Carols rice and beans program. They don't give receipts for tax purposes, but they are just as worthwhile. One is La Kalle restaurant and bar. They give out bags of essentials to those in need. Donations can be given directly to the restaurant. This is the one we support and volunteer at. They don't have a fancy donation program like Carols, but they do good work. Another is a group that takes food to the people at the local dump. Don't know how to contribute to them.
