Not just Mexicans as I support my wife and daughter in Queretaro and love it when the Peso is that high. Granted she's getting paid as a Principal and schools are closed but Just makes our lives easier with me working back in the States and the added $$$$$ compared to the peso. Hoping to keep it up.

Can you clarify? School principals in Mexico are getting paid while schools are closed? How about the teachers? Must admit I don't know the answers for school administrators and teachers here in Canada.

All members of the CNTE and SNTE teachers' unions receive their pay whether they work or not, year round. They get paid even if they're on strike blocking roads, burning buildings and vehicles and attacking the police. You don't even have to actually be a teacher. You can "buy" the job or "inherit" it from a family member. The previous administration of Enrique Peña Nieto tried to fix this problem, but after AMLO won the presidency he undid the previous administration's education reforms that endeavored to professionalize the public educational system.
