James Hansen, the father of global warming, predicted in 1988 that the worlds temperatures would increase, therefore the term “global warming” was coined. His predictions didn’t happen. Now it’s called climate change. The sky isn’t falling and La Ropa Beach will still be there long after we are.

Really? His predictions didn't happen? Are you suggesting the world's temperature isn't rising? You'd be in a tiny minority if you do. Haven't you noticed that the Arctic Ocean is now historically ice-free for part of the year? Or maybe you haven't seen the outer-space mages of retreating icecaps and glaciers. Sheesh.

And yeah it used to be called global warming and now it's climate change. But the new term wasn't coined by snowflake liberals. That would be your own Frank Luntz, the go-to conservative guru for all Orwellian doublespeak, who thought that 'global warming' sounded a little too dire.
